On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the Muslim community congregated in various places of worship to observe the Eid-Ul-Fitr holiday.

Eid-Ul-Fitr marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan fasting.

This month is the ninth in the Islamic calendar.

Eid-Ul-Fitr festivities begin with special prayers known as Eid, which take place at dawn after the moon is sighted.

Later, they participate in a festive meal and also invite the public to join in the celebrations.

The Minister of Interior Security, Prof Kithure Kindiki, announced yesterday, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, that today – Wednesday would be the holiday for the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
