Intense Combat: 87 Enemy Attacks, 24 Repelled by Ukrainian Forces

Ukrainian military forces faced a challenging day at the frontlines as the number of enemy attacks surged to 87, with the Pokrovsk sector witnessing the highest activity. Ukrainian troops successfully repelled 24 attacks, while combat continues in various sectors across the frontline. The General Staff reported that in the Pokrovsk sector alone, 34 enemy attacks were recorded, making it the most active area of the day. In other sectors, Ukrainian forces also faced significant pressure, with fierce battles continuing throughout the day.

In the Toretsk sector, 14 attacks were recorded, with the enemy focusing on New York, Nelipivka, Toretsk, and Zalizne. Despite the intensity, Ukrainian forces managed to repel a significant number of these assaults. The General Staff emphasized that the enemy is relentlessly attempting to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, but the defense forces are holding their ground, inflicting heavy losses on the invaders.

The border areas of the Sumy region continued to suffer from Russian artillery shelling, particularly in the settlements of Bachivsk, Mykhailivske, Ryasne, and Pokrovka. The enemy also launched two rocket attacks on Slavhorod from multiple rocket launchers, adding to the strain on Ukrainian defenses.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions in Vovchansk and Lypky. Two firefights are still ongoing in Vovchansk, highlighting the sustained pressure on this sector. Similarly, in the Kupyansk sector, six enemy assaults were reported, with Ukrainian defenders successfully repelling attacks near Petropavlivka and towards Lozova and Novoosynove. One firefight remains unresolved in this area.

The Liman sector also saw intense action, with enemy units, supported by aviation, attacking Ukrainian positions in Makiivka, Novosadove, Hrekivka, and Dibrova. Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks in this area, maintaining control over the situation. The fighting in the Siverskyi sector continued as well, with the enemy making four attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka, and Pereizne. The occupants dropped seven aerial bombs on Serebryanka and Verkhnekamianske in their efforts to gain ground.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders launched three assault operations near Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka. They also used unguided aerial missiles in the areas of Hryhorivka and Chasovyi Yar. The Toretsk sector saw 14 enemy attacks, with Ukrainian defenders engaging in 13 combat encounters and one battle still ongoing. The aggressor’s aviation struck Druzhba with unguided aerial missiles, while Toretsk and Nelipivka were hit by 11 anti-aircraft missiles.

The Pokrovsk sector experienced the highest number of combat engagements, with 34 attempts by the enemy to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in areas such as Vozdvyzhenka, Mykhailivka, Kalynivka, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Mykolaivka, Ptychy, Skuchne, and towards Zelene Pole. Ukrainian forces repelled 24 of these attacks, while 10 combat engagements remain ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, the invaders attacked Ukrainian units seven times, attempting to advance near Kostyantynivka, Krasnohorivka, and Karlivka. In the Vremivsk sector, there was one unsuccessful attempt by the invaders to breach Ukrainian positions. The Orikhivsk sector saw UAV strikes on Novoyakovlivka and Novopavlivka, while unguided aerial missiles hit Novoandriivka and Lobkove. Enemy units attempted to advance towards Novodanilivka but were unsuccessful. In the Prydniprovsky sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks.
