(UNN) – Russian War Losses: 1,170 Troops and 7 Tanks in Recent Update
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated its figures on Russian military losses since the start of the full scale invasion. According to the latest report, Russia has lost approximately 599,350 personnel and 8,508 tanks since February 24, 2022.
As of August 18, 2024, the reported losses are as follows:
- Personnel: 599,350, with an increase of 1,170 in the last update.
- Tanks: 8,508, with an addition of 7 tanks.
- Armored Combat Vehicles: 16,480, up by 7 units.
- Artillery Systems: 17,056, with an increase of 71 units.
- Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS): 1,161, up by 1 unit.
- Air Defense Systems: 923, unchanged from the previous report.
- Aircraft: 367, with no change.
- Helicopters: 328, with no change.
- Operational and Tactical Level UAVs: 13,752, an increase of 38 drones.
- Cruise Missiles: 2,432, with no change.
- Ships/Boats: 28, unchanged.
- Submarines: 1, unchanged.
- Motor Vehicles and Tank Trucks: 22,992, with an increase of 79 units.
- Special Equipment: 2,846, up by 2 units.
These figures reflect the ongoing conflict’s impact on Russian military resources and personnel.
