Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua convened a working meeting with leaders from Embu County at his residence in Nyeri. The gathering, led by Governor Cecily Mbarire, focused on fostering sustained engagement for monitoring development projects’ progress.

Highlighting the significance of ongoing dialogue with elected officials, Gachagua emphasized its pivotal role in expediting development initiatives. He underscored the importance of continuous collaboration in realizing tangible outcomes for the country.

Expressing gratitude for the fruitful discussions, Gachagua emphasized the instrumental nature of continuous engagement in fast-tracking development projects. The meeting, conducted over a bonfire, provided a conducive environment for constructive dialogue.

Among the attendees were Senator Alexander Mundigi, Woman Representative Njoki Njeru, and various Members of Parliament representing Embu County constituencies.

Before convening with the Embu leadership, Gachagua visited several locations within Mathira Constituency, Nyeri County, where he previously served as Member of Parliament. Notably, he inspected the ongoing construction of the Ngorano Health Village, emphasizing its potential to enhance healthcare accessibility and socio-economic prosperity.

Additionally, Gachagua visited his alma mater, Kabiru-ini Primary School, and PCEA Kabiru-ini Girls Secondary School, advocating for the prioritization of education to empower future generations.

The meeting and subsequent engagements underscored Gachagua’s commitment to fostering collaborative efforts towards sustainable development and socio-economic progress within Embu County and beyond.
