Captain (Rtd) Kung’u Muigai, former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin and patron of Kiama Kiama, urged Mount Kenya residents to back the Kwanza Kwanza administration led by Deputy President William Ruto.

Addressing concerns raised by some Murang’a leaders, Kung’u emphasized the need to support the government instead of constant criticism, urging patience to allow delivery on campaign promises.

He reassured the public regarding the recent arrest of individuals suspected to be members of the Mungiki sect, stating that the matter had been resolved after discussions with local leaders.

Kung’u condemned any incitement to violence through social media and called for unity among leaders to support government initiatives.

MP Edward Muriu echoed the sentiment, expressing confidence in the administration’s commitment to fulfilling its agenda and urging unity among leaders to achieve campaign promises.
