Bibi: UN Anti-Israel Condemnations Greater Than World Combined, ‘What A Joke’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly with a fiery speech, condemning the institution’s perceived bias against Israel, which he described as a “moral stain” and a “swamp of antisemitism.” He likened the UN to a “flat earth society,” accusing it of hypocrisy and double standards. “What a joke,” he declared, prompting applause from the gallery.

Netanyahu argued that the condemnations against Israel are not about Gaza but about Israel’s right to exist. He called the UN a “contemptuous farce” until its biased stance changes. He also denounced the International Criminal Court’s call for arrest warrants against him and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, attributing it to antisemitism. “The real war criminals are in Gaza, Syria, Iran, and Yemen,” Netanyahu asserted, telling those who stand with them, “you should be ashamed of yourselves.”

Despite the challenges, Netanyahu expressed confidence, proclaiming, “Israel will win this battle because we don’t have a choice.” Quoting the poet Dylan Thomas, he vowed, “Israel will not go gently into that good night.” Addressing the Israeli people and soldiers, he encouraged them to “be strong and of good courage,” concluding with the declaration, “Am Yisrael Chai” — the people of Israel live.

Netanyahu also highlighted the broader regional context, reiterating Israel’s commitment to achieving peace with Saudi Arabia, which he described as a potential “historic peace agreement.” He emphasized the transformative impact such a deal could have, calling it “a true pivot of history” that would foster economic and cultural ties between Mecca and Jerusalem. Netanyahu urged the world to seize this opportunity, framing it as the best way to counter Iran’s “nefarious designs” through expanded peace, backed by US support and leadership. “This can happen much sooner than people think,” he said, encouraging global leaders to stand with Israel and democracy rather than siding with Iran and darkness.

Turning to Iran, Netanyahu issued a stark warning: “If you strike us, we will strike you. There is no place in Iran where the long arm of Israel cannot reach.” He showcased maps illustrating two possible futures for the Middle East: one of peace through cooperation and another marked by Iran’s aggressive influence. He revealed that while Israel’s actions have delayed Iran’s nuclear program, they have not stopped it entirely, reinforcing the urgency of global action.

Netanyahu detailed Israel’s ongoing military operations, stating that Hamas had nearly 40,000 fighters on October 7, supported by an extensive network of tunnels and a massive arsenal. He reported that Israel has killed half of Hamas’s fighters, destroyed 90% of their rockets, and dismantled 23 out of 24 battalions. “We are mopping up,” he said, vowing to continue targeting senior commanders and key infrastructure. He reiterated Israel’s focus on its “sacred mission” of bringing all hostages home.

Netanyahu lambasted Hamas for stealing humanitarian aid and selling it to Gazans, stating, “This too has to end.” He rejected any reconstruction plans for Gaza that involve Hamas, calling it “inconceivable” and “ridiculous.” Israel, he stressed, would support any peaceful civil administration in Gaza.
